"Ghost in the Shell" Vai Ter Novo Anime

A Kodansha e o estúdio Production I.G. revelaram hoje que está em produção um anime baseado no manga Ghost in the Shell de Masamune Shiro.

Ainda não foi revelado o formato do anime que sabemos vai ser dirigido por Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) e Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed).

Em Setembro de 2016 em resposta a um fã sobre uma terceira temporada de Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Kamiyama já havia afirmado que no futuro seriam reveladas novidades sobre Ghost in the Shell.

A Production I.G. produziu aos comandos de Mamoru Oshii em 1995 e 2004 os filmes Ghost in the Shell e Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence bem como em 2002 a série anime Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex e a sequencia. Já mais recentemente em 2013 a Production I.G. animou a OVA Ghost in the Shell Arise que mais tarde foi transformada numa série anime.

Com se devem ter apercebido o mais recente projeto de Ghost in the Shell foi o filme live-action que estreou dia 31 de Março e que contou no papel principal com Scarlett Johansson. O filme aparenta ter falhado bruscamente nas bilheteiras.
